A three-per-week addict
Two words immediately spring to mind when I think of Adam Morden: fun and fitness.
You might think that the word fitness would come to mind first, with his qualifications as a trainer and coach, and his knowledge of nutrition, but it is truly his sense of fun that makes him the perfect instructor in my eyes.
I have known Adam for the past year and a half as my Crossfit Trainer, and in that time it has been his infectious sense of fun that has transformed me from a once-a-month gym user into a three-per-week addict. Adam is always ready with a joke and a smile. Every session promises to be full of laughter.
The classes are creative and unique every time I step through the door, and his encouragement and cajoling have kept me enthusiastic, when routine exercise would have burned me out in a few short months. Every class feels as though it is going to be an adventure. You go in knowing that it’s going to be hard work, but there’s a smile on your face while you’re doing it. I’m always wondering “What’s Adam got me doing this time?”
His dedication to fitness, both in himself and in others is obvious. He is constantly helping me to hone my technique, finding alternative exercises if I’m injured, and daring me to push myself harder than I would ever be able to alone.
Our gym has a feeling of community to it, and it is a direct result of Adam being there, every time we walk into the gym.
